Per-Area Pricing vs Whole-Body Packages
Most Seoul clinics begin offering package discounts at two areas and apply structured package rates from three areas onward. Two caveats apply. First, longer combined procedures carry a higher anesthesia risk profile. Combining with Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty (commonly called a tummy tuck) removes excess abdominal skin and tightens the underlying rectus abdominis muscles, while liposuction addresses localized fat deposits. The two procedures address different tissue layers and are frequently performed together, but the combination has distinct cost and recovery implications.
Surgical fee addition: Abdominoplasty in Korea adds ₩4,000,000–9,000,000 (≈$2,880–6,480 USD / A$4,400–9,900) to the surgical fee, depending on whether a mini, standard, or extended (fleur-de-lis) approach is used.¹ The combined quote should itemize each component separately; a single bundled figure makes it difficult to compare against other clinics.¹
Anesthesia and facility requirements: Abdominoplasty requires general anesthesia and typically at least one night of in-clinic or hospital observation. This adds ₩500,000–1,200,000 (≈$360–864 USD) in facility and monitoring costs beyond the standard anesthesia fee.⁴
Recovery extension: Body-only liposuction permits a 5–7 night Seoul stay.
