The Editorial Charter

1. Education before everything. Our purpose is to inform. No page exists primarily to sell.
2. Both sides, always. Every procedure page covers benefits and risks, ideal candidates and who should not proceed, and non-surgical or no-treatment alternatives.
3. No pay-to-rank. No clinic, surgeon, or product can pay to be recommended, ranked, or featured in editorial content. Ever.
4. Named accountability. Every clinical article carries a named author and a documented fact-check against primary sources before publication.
5. Primary sources. We cite KHIDI, MOHW, KSPRS, peer-reviewed literature, and official regulatory sources. We link out generously, including to sources that compete with us.
6. Dates and revisions. Every page shows its publication date, last-reviewed date, and a revision history for material changes.
7. Corrections in the open. Errors are corrected promptly and the correction is noted on the page.
8. Plain English. Medical terminology is always explained. Reading a page should never require a medical degree.
9. No fear, no hype. We neither exaggerate risks nor minimize them. Calibrated honesty is the voice.
10. Disclosed funding. How this platform sustains itself is explained in plain language on our About and Disclosure pages, and contextually wherever a partner is mentioned.

What "education, not medical advice" means

We are researchers and editors, not physicians. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice. Every clinical page directs readers to verify specifics with a board-certified surgeon before making decisions. The compact verification strip at the foot of every article says this explicitly.
